Prime 4Q Profits Up 9%

FAIRFIELD, NJ Prime Hospitality Corp. reported that its fourth quarter 2000 profits rose approximately 9.1%, stating that net income was $12.0 million or 26 cents per share in the fourth quarter this year, compared with $11.0 million or 22 cents per share last year.

Looking ahead, the company said it was comfortable with 2001 earnings per share consensus estimates of $1.30. Revenues in 2001 are expected to be between $580 million and $585 million and EBITDA should be between $160 million and $165 million, the company said. (2/8/01)
