PARACAS, PERU—Alan Garcia, the president of Peru, along with hotel executives and local officials were on hand Friday to help open the new Doubletree Guest Suites by Hilton Paracas Peru. Located between Lima and Nasca along the Panamerican Highway, the two-story hotel offers views of desert landscape and the Pacific. The Paracas National Reserve Park, the Ballestas Islands, the pre-Incan El Candelabro and the Nazca Lines all are within access of the hotel. The hotel is the second Doubletree by Hilton to open in Peru and the fourth in Latin America. Locations in Latin America include San Jose and Puntarenas, Costa Rica and Lima, Peru. The Doubletree Guest Suites by Hilton Paracas Peru was developed and is operated by Inversiones Brade S.A., under a franchise agreement with Hilton Hotels Corp. The bedroom includes either king or double full beds. All suites also feature such residential-style amenities as high-speed wireless Internet access; two, 32-inch LCD screen televisions; in-room climate control, iron with ironing board, hair dryer, personal safe, MP3-compatible stereo alarm clocks and two speaker phones with voicemail, upscale bath and body products.
