TORONTO— Points.com, a wholly owned subsidiary of Exclamation International, and Six Continents Hotels have reached an agreement in which Priority Club Rewards will become the first hotel program to participate in pointsxchange, an online loyalty program exchange. The new relationship, launching in May, also involves other Points.com technology solutions including pointspurchase and pointstransfer, among others. Plans are under development for Points.com to power the online sale of Priority Club Rewards points, including the online transfer of points between accounts and sale of Gold status membership. These services, based on leading edge technology developed and managed in-house, are fully developed, reliable and will be quickly implemented under the Priority Club Rewards brand. The first part of the agreement provides a framework for nearly 12 million members of the Priority Club Rewards program in the U.S. and Canada to participate in pointsxchange. Points.com has announced similar commercial agreements with 20 partners including Air Canada, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, America West Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and FTD.COM.
