PKF Promotes Vargo To VP/Research Products

ATLANTA— The Hospitality Research Group (HRG) of PKF Consulting has promoted Claude Vargo to vp/research products, with management responsibilities for Benchmarker, a hotel financial tool for the industry’s ownership and management community. In addition to his management of Benchmarker, Vargo leads the management effort in the sale and customer fulfillment of the firm’s other products, Price Ranger, an automated valuation model, and Hotel Outlook, developed in partnership with Torto Wheaton Research of Boston, the research affiliate of CB Richard Ellis International, and which offers detailed econometric forecasts covering 54 lodging markets in the U.S. HRG product development is under the supervision of Jack Corgel, managing director of applied research for HRG.
