SAN FRANCISCO? The growing hotel real estate brokerage group of PKF Investments has added Kent Schwarz as a director of real estate at its New York office. The addition is expected to increase the company?s ability to serve its hotel clients in the greater New York metropolitan area with their hotel sales, and gives another experienced hand to work on transactions both domestically and internationally, said Joel Hiser, executive managing director. ?Like the rest of the PKF/I team, Schwarz will be involved in transactions throughout the U.S. and Canada,? Hiser added. Schwarz, 48, formerly served with another internationally recognized financial services company. Before that, he held the position of director of business development with Hong Kong-based Regal Hotels Int?l. He has also served as divisional manager of operations for Hilton Hotels. Schwarz, a CHA, holds a bachelor of arts degree from Arizona State University and is currently working on his MBA. PKF Investments specializes in hotel real estate brokerage, including land sales, asset-based debt financing and private equity placement.
