ST. CHARLES, IL— Pheasant Run Resort & Spa has entered the final phase of its $16 million renovation program, which includes a total refurbishment of all meeting rooms located on the second floor of the resorts tower, which will be completed by first-quarter 2002. “These meeting rooms overlook the resorts 18 hole championship golf course and will compliment the larger ballrooms and exposition space available to our clientele,” said Stan Soroka, svp/hotel operations for Oakbrook Hotels, Inc., of which 473-room Pheasant Run is the flagship property. Phase I of renovations were completed in third-quarter and featured a new main entrance to the resort, a redesigned 12,000-square-foot ballroom, guestroom remodeling, the addition of two-story luxury whirlpool guest suites, fitness center, a remodeled conference registration center, business center and a new café overlooking the golf course and lake.
