PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL— To capture a greater share of the family market, the PGA National Resort & Spa is targeting the young set with a new program called “Resort To Fun.” “Family travel is a steadily increasing trend, leading us to reconsider what we are providing for our guests who bring along their children,” said property vp/managing director Michael Brown. Organized by Innovative Leisure Inc., the program offers a series of activities such as arts and crafts, organized sports, pool games and themed evening parties. Parents may enroll their children in individual activity sessions or half-or full-day programs, and rates vary by activity and participants. “The organized children’s activities allow parents time to play a leisurely round of golf or hit the spa for some well-deserved pampering, knowing that their kids are being actively involved and properly supervised,” said Brown.
