LAS VEGAS- Perini Building Co., a subsidiary of Perini Corp., was awarded a $132 million contract to build the Palms Casino Hotel in Las Vegas. Perinis client is the Maloof family.
Upon the request of the Maloof Family, minimal details have been released about the project. It has, however, been revealed that the resort includes a 40-story hotel tower, 14 movie theaters, 1,200-seat multi-use entertainment venue, and a casino.
Perini, the Jerde Partnership, KGA Architecture, and the client spent 19 months finalizing the design, construction feasibility, budgets and scheduling/logistics decisions. Perini also conducted in-depth value engineering and life cycle studies.
Perini will deliver the resort in December of 2001. (10/24/00)
