CALABASAS, CA— The Belvedere Hotel Partnership, an affiliate of Beverly Hills-based Probity International Corp., has secured a $140 million refinancing for The Peninsula Beverly Hills via Countrywide Commercial, which closed the loan. The 194-room luxury property has been AAA Five Diamond and Mobil Five Star rated for 13 consecutive years. The hotel features the award-winning Belvedere restaurant, a roof-top patio restaurant and pool, meeting rooms and a newly renovated health spa. Deepak Peruvemba, svp/Countrywide Commercial, represented the company in this transaction. More than 20% of Countrywide Commercial’s loan production in 2006 involved hospitality properties.
