BALTIMORE, MD— Sunburst Hospitality’s Peabody Court (a Clarion Hotel) has reportedly reached the final stage of its $3-million restoration and renovation project with the opening of the property’s new restaurant and bar, George’s, on Mt. Vernon Square here. Built in 1928, the Peabody Court is said to have named the new on-site casual-dining facility in honor of a trio of Georges playing a major role in the development of this city— George Washington, George Peabody, and George Herman “Babe” Ruth. It was further noted the 104-room hotel remained open for business and received guests throughout the year-long upgrading process.
