Patava To Step Down As Fairmont CFO

TORONTO— Jerry Patava, executive vp, cfo of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts Inc., has decided to retire. His retirement will be effective Jan. 1, 2005, giving Fairmont time to appoint a new CFO. In 1990, Patava joined Canadian Pacific Limited, Fairmont’s predecessor company, as treasurer. He has held this current position since 1998 and has been instrumental in the growth of Fairmont during that period, according to the company.
