CANCUN Park Hospitality s Park Plaza and Park Inn hotels, a part of Carlson Hospitality Worldwide, will be providing a new guest loyalty program called Park Rewards via a partnership with parent-company Carlson Companies Gold Points Rewards program.
The program is based on a point system in which 10 points are awarded for each dollar spent on accommodations at either Park Hospitality brand in North America.
In addition, the new Park Pride employee training and recognition program was recently unveiled though it will not be officially introduced to Park Inn and Park Plaza employees in North America until this spring. The program focuses on teaching employees the fundamental skills for building relationships with co-workers and guests.
Members of the corporate operations team will host one-hour training sessions while managers and supervisors will receive a “Park Pride tool kit,” a card system featuring ideas and resources for maintaining and enhancing the program with their employees on a day-to-day basis.
Park Hospitality has also announced that it will launch its new website, www.parkhtls.com, later this month. The website will be capable of booking on-line reservations for Park properties around the world. Additionally, the site will feature a hotel locator that is searchable by city, state or country; a virtual hotel tour highlighted with photography and descriptions; a Frequently Asked Questions area; and an on-line comment card.
In other Carlson Companies news, Country Inns & Suites has announced a new development agreement in which GS Consorcio Operador of Mexico City will develop and franchise Country Inns & Suites in Mexico. Over the next five years, plans include the opening of five hotels.
