LAS VEGAS Park Place Entertainment Corp. hopes to build a 864-room hotel tower and retail space at its Caesars Palace casino in Las Vegas, the Las Vegas Sun reported. Park Place filed with the Clark County Planning Commission to build a 30-story hotel tower near Flamingo Road and the Strip.
The expansion would include a 320,000-square-foot shopping mall that would offer restaurants, parking and meeting space. The hotel currently has 2,454 rooms. (2/22/01)
