LAS VEGAS Park Place Entertainment Corp. announced the promotion of John Shigley to president, Caesars Palace. He is replacing Dean Harrold who left the position last month. Shigley will report to Mark Dodson, co-COO of Park Place and president of its Western Casino Group.
Shigley has spent 13 years at Caesars Palace and Park Place in a variety of senior management roles, most recently as evp of Caesars Palace. (3/6/01)
