CARLSBAD, CA—The Park Hyatt Aviara Resort, here, completed a multimillion-dollar renovation of its 329 guestrooms and casual dining restaurant, California Bistro.
The updated rooms and dining facility feature a coastal style that enhances the traditional Spanish Colonial architecture of the AAA Five Diamond Resort.
BAMO, Inc. of San Francisco designed the comprehensive renovations, which included repainting and recarpeting of all guestrooms, updated window treatments, lighting, artwork and adding select pieces of furniture.
California Bistro was revamped with a lounge area to accommodate guests. The restaurant received new carpeting, tiles, chairs, wall coverings, window treatments and china.
General Manager Mark Stiebeling stated, “The renovation ensures we maintain our high level of excellence and continue to create memorable experiences for our guests.”
Park Hyatt Aviara Resort is set on 200 acres with views of the Pacific Coast and Batiquitos Lagoon. There are facilities for meetings and special events, four restaurants, a full-service spa, swimming, tennis, a fitness center and an Arnold Palmer-designed 18-hole championship golf course.
