MINNEAPOLIS, MN— Park Hospitality has posted significant gains in its year-end 2001 development for North America, showing a 90% growth rate for its Park Plaza and Park Inn brands. Part of Carlson Hospitality Worldwide, Park Hospitality added 24 hotels representing 3,200 guestrooms in the United States and Canada. “Given the challenging business climate experienced globally in 2001, we are extremely pleased with our ability to move the Park brand forward, and establish a solid foundation upon which we intend to build a brand champion of the future,” said company evp Jetse Pottinga.
