MINNEAPOLIS Park Hospitality, the newest member of Carlson Hospitality Worldwide, has added six new properties in North America to its portfolio. A 148-room Park Inn in Omaha, NE, and a 73-room Park Inn in Platteville, WI, are currently in operation. Plans for other hotels to open soon include a Park Plaza hotel in Charlotte, NC, and Park Inn hotels in Burr Ridge, IL; Beckley, WV; and Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

The addition of the six properties increases the number of Park Inns and Park Plaza hotels to more than 80 hotels worldwide. To foster development of the brand, the company has named six directors of development throughout the U.S. (2/7/01)
