HAUPPAUGE, NY— Hyatt Hotels Corp. has appointed Mark Pardue general manager at the Hyatt Regency Wind Watch here in Hauppauge. Hyatt recently took over management of the 360-room hotel which previously operated as the Wyndham Wind Watch. Prior to his appointment, Pardue was general manager at the Stanhope Park Hyatt New York in Manhattan. His career with Hyatt began in 1988 at the Hyatt Winston-Salem. He has since worked at seven other Hyatt properties. In his new role, Pardue will report to Jerry Lewin, senior vp of field operations. Situated on Long Island, the Hyatt Regency Wind Watch is slated to undergo an $8.5 million renovation of public areas and guestrooms.
