BEVERLY HILLS— Hilton Hotels Corporation announced today that 32-year Hilton veteran Gerhard (Gary) Seibert has been named area vp and managing director for Hawaii, overseeing the Hilton Hawaiian Village(R) Beach Resort and Spa, Doubletree Alana Waikiki and Hilton Waikoloa Village, with an expected start date of June 1, 2005. Seibert has been serving as area vp for Hilton Hotels Corporation and general manager of the historic Palmer House Hilton since 2000. Seibert will report to Ernest Wooden, Jr., senior vp, Hilton/Doubletree Operations for the Western U.S., Alaska, Hawaii and Mexico. Seibert is replacing Peter Schall, who is retiring after a 40-year run with Hilton.
