DALLAS— During Six Continents Hotels’ annual conference being held here from Jan. 28 to 29, Robert Mayer, vp/marketing for Crowne Plaza and Inter-Continental, said next week Crowne Plaza will open its newest hotel — in time for the Winter Olympics— in Salt Lake City, Utah. The hotel is part of an ongoing larger expansion plan that called for opening new Crowne Plaza hotels in 10 key locations between October 2001 and March 2002. The properties will be located in markets such as Boston, South Beach Miami, Beverly Hills, Ft. Lauderdale, Mall of America, MN and The Bahamas. —Diana M. Rodriguez
