TUCSON, AZ–– The Omni Tucson National Golf Resort & Spa is planning for an extensive renovation and expansion project. The $40 million dollar refurbishment is slated to begin in June 2007. Upon completion in 2008, the renovation will include 239 guestrooms and suites, a new 15,000-square-foot spa, two championship golf courses, and a new 7,500-square-foot ballroom. Omni Hotels has partnerd with Tucson-based Seaver Franks Architects, Culver City, CA-based Zebrowski Design Group and Phoenix, AZ-based E-Group on the project.
