IRVING, TX— Omni Hotels has launched Sensational Wednesdays, a special service that treats guests in its loyalty program to a small gift with their complimentary morning beverage service. Each gift has been specially selected to appeal to one of the five senses. Items include: Lava Bar, a molten chocolate candy bar; Worry Stones, small, smooth stones that reportedly aid in concentration and mediation; Thymes Eucalyptus bath salts; Tea Forte, a tea service; and a Japanese Hinoki Cypress Block, a block of highly aromatic cypress that can be dropped into a bath or rubbed on rough skin; and Penzey’s Pumpkin Pie Spice. According to the company, Sensational Wednesdays was created to thank Select Guest members. Guests are encouraged to provide feedback on each Sensational Wednesday gift item by filling out a brief, program-specific card or by emailing Omni Hotels. Omni Hotels will then use the insights to further refine its sensory initiatives. “Throughout this new initiative, the most important aspect is the ongoing dialogue we’ve established with our guests. According to them, they thoroughly enjoy the sensory items, yet they appreciate the sentiment that much more,” said Mike Deitemeyer, president/Omni Hotels.
