COLUMBUS, OH Governor Bob Taft and the Ohio Department of Development s (ODOD) Division of Travel and Tourism has launched the state s new campaign and slogan “Ohio So Much To Discover!” The slogan replaces “Ohio, The Heart of it All,” which was created in 1983 and recently retired to make way for the state s new tagline.
Travelers currently spend more than $27 billion annually in Ohio and the campaign intends to urge travelers to discover even more of the state, which will lead to increased spending and enhance the state s economy, according to Taft. (3/23/01)
