SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FL— Ocean Point Resort & Club has appointed Ted Johnson as the new director of catering. Johnson will be responsible for all catering events at the 166-unit property, from sales to execution. In previous experience, Johnson served with Tishman Hotel Corp., Smith & Wollensky and Sheraton. In other news, Ocean Points chef Juan Rosado, who oversees the resort’s restaurant, View, was recognized with a silver medal at the Florida Restaurant Show in Orlando. Rosado was honored for his recipe for Caribbean Annatto Rubbed Pork.
