PARADISE ISLAND, BAHAMAS The Ocean Club recently celebrated its rebirth with a celebrity-studded party hosted by Sun International Chairman/CEO Sol Kerzner. More than $100 million was invested to restore The Ocean Club to its original grandeur as a luxury destination. The resort now includes 50 new oceanfront rooms and suites in addition to the propertys existing 58 rooms, suites and villas. Public areas and grounds were also completely renovated and restored. A new reception area greets guests with expansive views of the ocean from a dramatic 14-foot terrace. Next fall, the full-service Ocean Club Spa by Mandara will open on the property, featuring a variety of rejuvenating treatments. (12/10/00)
