NEW YORK— During an event held here April 16 at the Waldorf=Astoria, New York University’s Preston Robert Tisch Center for Hospitality, Tourism and Travel Administration honored Stephen Bollenbach, president/CEO of Hilton Hotels Corp., as the 2002 recipient of the Distinguished Industry Leadership Award. During her opening remarks, Dr. Lalia Rach, associate dean and director of NYU’s Tisch Center, stated Bollenbach is “one of the finest strategists and visionaries in our industry. Throughout his career he has consistently created new structures that have propelled his companies forward. He is an innovator and a leader.” Speakers at the charity dinner included Dr. Rach as well as Eric Long, general manager of the Waldorf=Astoria and chair of the event; Preston Robert Tisch, honorary chair; Dr. L.
