NEW YORK— The 25th NYU International Hospitality Industry Investment Conference got down to business this morning with top executives offering their views of the current climate to some 1,400 attendees during the “CEOs Check-In” panel. The conference, which began with a reception last night, is taking place at the Marriott Marquis here through tomorrow. Participating in the CEO panel were Stephen Bollenbach, president/CEO, Hilton Hotels Corp.; J.W. Marriott Jr., chairman/CEO, Marriott International; Marilyn Carlson Nelson, chairman/CEO, Carlson Companies; and Henry Silverman, chairman/CEO, Cendant Corp. The panel was moderated by Lalia Rach, associate dean, Preston Robert Tisch Center for Hospitality, Tourism and Sports Management, School of Continuing and Professional Studies, New York University.
