NEW YORK— The landmark Washington Square Hotel in Greenwich Village is teaming up with two of the city’s legendary jazz venues in an effort to draw tourists downtown. The 170-room property, which turns 100 in 2002, is partnering with jazz clubs Blue Note and Village Vanguard in promotional packages that includes a room at the family-run hotel, admission to one of the clubs, and a “generous” continental breakfast. Prices will range from $126 to $450, depending on accommodations, length of stay and performers at the clubs. The hotel also is offering discounts on dinner at its restaurant, C3, as well as nearby parking.
