DALLAS— Masergy Communications, a network-service provider, said it has inked a deal with Noble House Hotels and Resorts. Under this agreement, MASERGY will provide Noble House videoconferencing capabilities over a converged IP network. Noble House owns and manages 12 upscale boutique hotels and resorts in the United States, including Little Palm Island Resort & Spa in the Florida Keys. Noble House will reportedly use the videoconferencing to link its corporate office in Seattle with its properties throughout the United States. It will also provide the service to hotel guests. Masergy said it is installing and implementing its broadcast TV quality network service initially at six Noble House locations and partnering with SDSL-Video to provide videoconferencing equipment. These locations include The Adolphus in Dallas; Paradise Point Resort & Spa in San Diego; The Portofino Hotel & Yacht Club in Redondo Beach, CA; The Hotel Viking in Newport, RI; Grove Isle Hotel and Club in Coconut Grove (Miami), and La Playa Beach & Golf Resort in Naples, FL.
