TOKYO— Nikko Hotels International has opened its third hotel in Osaka, the new 641-room Hotel Nikko Bayside, located at the entrance of Universal Studios Japan. With its 32-floor futuristic design, Hotel Nikko Bayside Osaka rises above other area buildings. From the top floor, featuring floor-to-ceiling glass for a dramatic outlook, guests can enjoy spectacular city views at the Sky Bar and “Top of Hollywood” restaurant. One floor below, guests can relax and refresh at the hotels Sky Spa “Cocoon.” Boasting a magnificent view of the Rokko Mountains and the Akashi Channel Bridge, the spa is the first in Osaka to feature natural hot springs. The hot spring water flows from an underground source, 1,000 meters deep. JAL Hotels will manage the hotel under a lease contract. The hotels landowner is West Japan Railway Company, and building owner is Sogo Shoji Co., Ltd.
