NH Hoteles Expands Global Portfolio

NEW YORK According to a recent HVS International report, NH Hoteles added two hotels to its network in the Netherlands the new 163-room Golden Tulip Museum Quarter in midtown Amsterdam and the four-star 68-room Golden Tulip Rijnhotel in Arnhem.

NH Hoteles signed a 10-year lease contract with the Dutch airline KLM, to operate the Golden Tulip Museum Quarter, which will be used exclusively for the airline s crew and passengers.

Meanwhile, NH Hoteles reopened two hotels in Cordoba, Argentina s second largest city. The company acquired the hotels last October for a total euro 17 million, or $15 million. Together, the NH Panorama and the NH Panorama Business comprise 218 rooms. They recently underwent upgrades totaling $2 million. (5/18/01)
