PHILADELPHIA— Newmarket International, an online provider of marketing and catering solutions like Delphi, has formed a preferred sales and technology alliance with StarCite, a provider of enterprise and business technology solutions for the meetings industry. As part of the alliance, Newmarket will offer NetXchange LeadWorx Edition, a private-label version of the StarCite RapidRFP, to individual hotels, chains, sales offices, or meeting and convention facilities as part of its NetXchange product suite. Hotel operators, meetings organizations and visitor bureaus will be able to attach a custom RFP engine to their website, providing planners with an effective tool to quickly request rate and availability from a property. LeadWorx will allow for the RFP to look like the operator’s own website and tie it electronically into Delphi, CVBreeze, CCBreeze and NetDelphi. Suppliers can then view and respond to these leads online from their existing Newmarket products using Newmarket’s NetXchange MeetingBroker Edition. The relationship between the two companies began in 2001 with the integration of the StarCite RFP engine and Newmarket’s NetXchange MeetingBroker.
