SHREVEPORT, LA— GuestHouse International Inns, based in Hendersonville, TN, has added its newest franchise with the opening of a converted property here. The 61-room GuestHouse International Inn & Suites two-floor property underwent a complete renovation in 2005, with amenities including high-speed Internet, executive work desk, hair dryers, and an iron and full ironing board. The executive suites feature sofas, microwaves, and refrigerators. The property’s exterior, lobby, and swimming pool also underwent renovations recently to provide a more updated look. In other company news, J. Richard Keegan has been named director of franchise development for the Southeast region. Keegan has more than 20 years of hotel development and management experience.
