GRAPEVINE, TX—The first dual-branded Marriott hotel in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, the Counrtyard and TownePlace Suites DFW/Grapevine, has opened its doors.
The hotel is located minutes from DFW International Airport between Dallas and Fort Worth. It includes 301 guestrooms and 13,000 sq. ft. of meeting space.
The property’s executive team includes General Manager Michelle Strong, who has over 17 years of experience with both the Marriott and Hilton brands, particularly focused on the Courtyard, Residence Inn and TownePlace Suites brands. This is her second dual GM role.
Jason Troncale, assistant general manager for Courtyard, has 12 years of management experience with Marriott properties in the Texas area, while Justin Kuzski, assistant general manager for TownePlace Suites, has four years of sales and operational experience in the service industry, most recently with Embassy Suites, Fort Worth, TX.
Elisa Berdych, director of sales, has managed both individual and corporate sales for Hyatt Regency DFW and Wyndham Anatole. Most recently, she was national sales manager for business travel at Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center.
Bethany Hastings serves as sales manager; Peggy Gutierrez serves as senior catering manager; Angela Roberts serves as director of food & beverage; Jonathan Pape serves as executive chef; and Jenna Clary serves as events manager.
