NEW YORK The New Yorker Hotel is celebrating its one-year anniversary as Ramada s Manhattan flagship with sizable increases in corporate business. Prior to last year, the hotel generated only a small percentage of business travel. Today, corporate business accounts for 40% of the hotel s occupancy. The New Yorker has picked up corporate accounts from such companies as Ikea, Federated Department Stores, and Parsons Brinckerhoff. (2/22/01)
