GREENPORT, NY— The Long Island Wine Council reported that its Windows on Long Island Wine event, now in its 12th year here, will be held on Monday, April 29th at Guastavino’s, located under the Queensboro Bridge. Beneficiaries this year will be the Earth Pledge Foundation and Windows of Hope Family Relief Fund. A sell out crowd of 1,000 people is anticipated. The program will include a VIP reception co-hosted by Thomas Matthews, executive editor, Wine Spectator, and Andrea Immer, Master Sommelier, author of Great Wine Made Simple, and Dean of Wine Studies at The French Culinary Institute of New York; followed by a Grand Tasting.
