ATLANTA— The grille at 590 has opened at the Renaissance Atlanta Hotel Downtown. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the upscale steakhouse specializes in cuisine with a Southern flair. The executive chef at the grille at 590 is Richard Mendosa. Though the emphasis of the menu is prime steak and fresh seafood, the restaurant offers a variety of appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, side dishes and desserts. Menu offerings include: Southern Eggs Benedict, 590 Skillet Breakfast, Pecan Crusted Southern Fried Chicken Breast, Stone Ground Grit Timbale, Live Maine Lobster, Pappardelle Pasta with Seared Shrimp and Chicken Breast Stuffed with Georgia Goat Cheese. The restaurants decor features plush upholstery, tile floors and warm globe lighting. The 25-story Renaissance Atlanta Hotel Downtown has 503 guestrooms and 31,000 square feet of function space, including a variety of flexible meeting rooms and a ballroom.
