DUCK, NC— New services for men are now available at the 8,000-square-foot waterfront spa at The Sanderling Resort, Spa and Conference Center here. Among the offerings on the spa menu for men are a shave combined with a facial; a deep tissue massage; a pedicure; and a treatment that utilizes local pine nettle for a scrub and massage with scents of the deep woods. The spa also has a new hair salon. Couples desiring treatments together can book one of the two waterfront couples suites, each with a private lounge. The Sanderling is situated on 12 acres and features three oceanfront inns with 88 guestrooms and suites; four villas containing three and four-bedroom accommodations, and a presidential suite.
