ORLANDO, FL— A new condominium hotel is going up here called the Regent Winter Park Hotel, Spa & Residences, according to a report in The Orlando Sentinel. The property will be located on the former site of Winter Parks famed Langford Hotel and is being developed by Jim Heistand, owner of Capital Partners, and Mark Ellert, president of Aztec Leisure Corp., which bought the hotel and its 4 acres for $10 million in 2001. The faded Langford is being replaced with a five-star, 110-room luxury Regent hotel that will feature 37 suites reserved for buyers and 23 luxury condominiums also for sale. Both the condo and suite residents would have access to all of the hotels amenities, from maid services to a 20,000-square-foot spa. Site work is wrapping up and construction is about to start, Heistand said. The development is scheduled to open late next year. SOURCE: The Orlando Sentinel
