NEW YORK— The Leading Hotels of the World Ltd. has added a number of new member hotels to its rolls, among them: • The 220-room Carlton Tower in the heart of Londons Knightsbridge section; • The 488-room/suite Gran Hotel Bahia del Duque, situated on an estate bordering the sea on Spains island of Tenerife; and • The 382-room/suite Hôtel Plaza Athénée in Bangkok, within walking distance of shopping areas in that Thai metropolis and convenient to embassies as well as the city’s financial and business centers. Additionally, the Leading Small Hotels of the World has added several properties to its roster as well, including: • The recently renovated 90-room/suite Grand Hotel Barrière, located at the heart of the resort town of Dinard on Frances Brittany coast; • The 18th-century Adare Manor Hotel and Golf Resort, set amid 840 acres of formal gardens and parkland in the heart of Irelands Southwest; and • The 90-room/suite “traditional” Rajasthani palace, Udaivilas, the Oberoi Groups new luxury resort commanding 30 acres overlooking Indias Pichola Lake.
