HONG KONG— The Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong will unveil a dedicated meeting, conference and banquet facility in September 2002. The new space is located on the second floor of the 541-room hotel and includes four function rooms— Alexandra, Victoria, Charter and Glouchester— with views of Victoria Harbour. The Victoria and Charter rooms can be combined to accommodate up to 180 people. Along with the function rooms the hotel has the Board Room which can seat up to 14 people and has teleconferencing facilities, two plasma televisions and an additional private seating area. With the new facilities, the hotel will have a total of 13 meeting rooms.
