Cleveland, OH— The Ichard E. Jacobs Group unveiled late last week the sale of land for the development of a 300-room, full service Marriott hotel by Winegardner & Hammons Inc. Located in Warrensville Heights, the hotel will be part of Chagrin Highlands, a world-class corporate community with more than 600 acres of undeveloped land in four municipalities in Clevelands eastern suburbs. Construction of the hotel should begin before this week is out. Completion is seen for summer 2005. The eight-story property will feature 14,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 7,500 square foot ballroom able to accommodate up to 700 attendees. All meeting rooms will be equipped with wireless and wired high-speed Internet access. More than 200 guest rooms will be designated the Room That Works, which means they will be specially designed for business travelers. All rooms will have wireless high speed Internet access.
