CORTLAND, NY— Within the next 60 days construction will commence on a 106-room Lexington Resort and Villas that will located within the first phase of the Hope Lake Lodge project here. Upon completion, the Lexington Resort will join Hope Lake Lodge’s Greek Peak Ski Resort, an indoor water park, a restaurant and a Cascades International Spa. The Lexington Resort will operate as a condo hotel. All of the Lexington’s units will include a kitchenette, a fireplace and a view of either Hope Lake or Greek Peak Mountain. The new resort will also comply with the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Environment and Energy Design standards. As a result, the building will include geothermal heating and cooling elements. Peak Resorts, Inc. is the developer of the Hope Lake Lodge project. The project’s second phase of construction will yield an 18-hole golf course, a corporate conference center facility, additional dining facilities and new lodging units.
