TROY, MI— A new 150-suite Homewood Suites by Hilton hotel opened here Sept. 30. Owned by Troy Hotel Property, LLC, the newly constructed hotel represents another addition to the Homewood Suites by Hilton roster of more than 100 hotels. The hotel will be managed by MEI Hotels. The need for upscale hotels that cater to guests staying consecutive nights in the Birmingham-Troy area greatly exceeds the available supply, according to Melissa Whitcomb, hotel general manager The four-story Homewood Suites by Hilton Birmingham-Troy hotel offers residential-style one-and-two bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens and sleeping and living areas.
