ATLANTA— Holiday Inn has proposed building a 150-room Holiday Inn Express & Suites on the northwest corner of Haven Avenue and the 60 Freeway in Ontario, CA, according to company officials. The three-story hotel will cost about $8 million to build, including the cost of land, said David Wilenski, director of franchise sales for Holiday Inn Express. The developer, San Gabriel Valley-based Dana Glen Inc., plans to start work on the Holiday Inn Express & Suites project early next year and expects construction to take up to 10 months. The facility would be the companys second location in Ontario. A Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites operates at Haven Avenue and Interstate 10. The company hopes to get a green light on the project from the city planning commission at an Aug. 28 hearing.
