LAS VEGAS— HOTEL BUSINESS® has learned that the Green Valley Resort, located about 10 minutes from the Las Vegas strip, will be opening Dec. 18 in conjunction with the latest bar from nightlife guru Rande Gerber, president/CEO of Midnight Oil Company. The 200-room hotel, with a 60,000- square-foot-casino, will feature Gerber-owned and-operated bars in the outdoor pool area and casino, as well as an indoor lounge, said Gerber. “It’ the only bar in Las Vegas where you don’t have to walk through the casino to get to it,” he said. —Diana M.
