GARDEN CITY, KS- The new 62-unit Comfort Inn, located at 2608 East Kansas Ave. here will hold a grand opening on Thursday, April 17 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The Comfort Inn is owned and operated by D. Schwartz and Company, Inc. of Dighton, Kansas, owners Darrel Schwartz, Keitha Schwartz and Sonia Lang. The three-story Comfort Inn features 62 rooms including 18 suites with upscale furnishings. Each room has two queen-size beds, a 27-inch cable TV with Pay Per View movies and high-speed Internet access. Each suites also features a king-size bed, sofa bed, microwave and refrigerator. Two whirlpool suites include a Jacuzzi tub. Hotel amenities include an indoor pool, hot tub, steam spa sauna, exercise room, breakfast room and guest laundry. The property’s 800-square-foot meeting space accommodates up to 100 people and includes a 10-foot projection TV screen. Photocopy and fax machines are available for guest use.
