DALLAS— Hotel ZaZa, a $30 million boutique hotel, will officially open its doors for guests next month, according to a report in the Dallas Morning News. As previously reported, the 146-room Hotel ZaZa will convey an “urban lifestyle” image. It will feature oversized rooms decorated with hand-selected furnishings and art; shower stalls with high-pressure heads and poetry-etched walls; and suites with themes such as West Indies, Texas and even “erotica,” according to developer Charlie Givens. Givens predicted the hotels occupancy will reach 54% by December, the mid-60s by January and be in the mid-70s for the rest of 2003, the report said. Gemstone Resorts International will manage the new hotel.
