PHOENIX— The Travel Inventory Marketing Alliance, LLC (TIMA) is hosting the inaugural TIMA Summit, to be held at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV, on September 4th-5th, 2002. Events include opening cocktail reception the evening of the 4th followed by a full day discussion and public premier of the TIMA System, which is a real-time, XML-based inventory aggregation “switch” that allows seamless exchange of wholesale inventory between suppliers and subscribers. The TIMA Summit will cover all aspects of the TIMA initiative, beginning with an introduction of the founding companies, the TIMA business model and overall system goals. Potential suppliers and subscribers will learn about the features and specifications of the TIMA System. Membership qualifications and technology partnership plans will be the afternoon focus, with question and answer sessions and membership registration opportunities rounding out the event.
