MINNEAPOLIS— Charles Nehme has been appointed general manager of The Northland Inn, a hotel and executive conference center located in Brooklyn Park, MN near Minneapolis. The Northland Inn is a 231-suite hotel with a 33,000-square-foot conference center. It is part of Benchmark Hospitality International’s portfolio. Nehme is a 30-year veteran of the hospitality industry. Before joining Benchmark, he was the president of a hotel management company based in Texas. Prior to that he was regional vp of operations with Signet Hotel Corp., where he oversaw the financial performance of eight hotels and resorts. In other experience, he held management positions with Marriott Hotels & Resorts.
